The approximately 130 square meter residential building is disposed on three floors above ground and a basement. It has two entrances, the first, located on the ground floor, leads into the kitchen and to the internal stairwell, the second is on the first floor, accessed from an external staircase and overlooks a large room that can be used as a living room or bedroom. on the same floor a single bedroom, hallway, a bathroom with tub / shower, and a double room with stairwell leading to the attic which houses another bedroom and the attic used as a storage room.

The rustic buildings of about 40 square meters, are composed of a former stable with an overhanging barn, two storage rooms, a woodshed and a porch, facing the land planted with tall trees and fruit, which extends gently to the south.

The buildings dating back to the time of construction, at the beginning of the last century, are in a good state of maintenance and preserve finishes in original materials: terracotta floors and concrete tiles, beams and wooden floors.

The house is owned by my grandmother, passed down from generation to generation within her family from the end of the 1800s.

When my parents told me about the possibility of selling it, I cried. I have a lot of memories related to this house and on the weekends spent with my grandparents in the middle of nature. The decision was really tough, but everyone, children and grandchildren moved to work matters and we own houses in the surrounding hills.

My grandparents' house was left alone and empty. Seeing it this way is a blow to the heart. This is why we decided to put it up for sale, hoping to find buyers who know how to appreciate the scent of history and tradition that reigns inside the house and the magic of nature that is released outside.

We are in possession of an ancient cadastral map attesting to the existence of the Rambotta hamlet and of the house, already in 1878.

From the stories of my grandmother I remember that, during the last war, my great-grandfather Giacomo had hidden an American from the OSS in the attic, risking his own skin and that of the family.

Other interesting anecdotes about this house during the Second World War are available in the book "Romanzo Familiare - LA TORCIA" by Paolo Rovati (my dad). Available for purchase online at the following link:
