Restored portion of country-house in panoramic spot overlooking the famous Val di Chio Valley
Val di Chio is the beautiful and full of history valley of Castiglion Fiorentino Medieval town. For its beauty it was called in the past Val di Dio, which means the Valley of God. The property is located on a hill opposite the town and enjoys vies of the valley and the borgo.  It is a stone structure, attached on one side to another building. 
The two storey house measures 167 sq.m. (net) plus the terrace and portico.  At present it is divided into two independent apartments which can easily be connected if required. The ground floor features a garage, sitting room, eat-in-kitchen, portico, bedroom and bathroom. The first-floor apartment is accessed through external staircase. It has a bread oven, terrace, sitting room, eat-in-kitchen, two bedrooms and two bathrooms.
The house was restored few years ago and hardly ever used. Where possible the original features have been maintained. Floors are covered with terracotta tiles and one of the sitting rooms have a large stone fire place. The property has LPG gas, heating and own water well.
The land measures approx. 1 hectare – mostly woods with old oak trees. Small part of it surrounds the house, while the rest is on the other side of a dirt road, which leads to upper woods and ruins of a castle.
It is possible to purchase two small plots and move the road further away from the house, but since only a few cars pass by during the entire year, perhaps it is not even necessary.
Access is through tarmac road and 800 meters’ dirt road.
