Descripción

The house is at the heart of Bobbio, a medieaval village in the Appennines, one and a half hours' drive from Milan. The front entrance is on the main street (now pedestrian area), and the house extends across to a totally secluded private side and garden. Built in the 18th c., it has been in the family since early 1800's. Last total refurbishing in the 1980's. Continuous careful maintenance since.

A spacious entrance hall leads to stairs going up to the family areas on one side, and to the storage, laundry, staff bathroom and cellars on the other.

On the second floor, four bedrooms, three bathrooms and two sitting/study rooms.
Above, the attic can be reached by a fixed ladder. It measures 200 sq.m. of which about half has outside lighting and could be used legally for further living space.
In the garden, sheltered room for 2 cars, two outbuildings, currently used as garden storage and and wood-shed, and a small walled side-garden.
Access to the house is possible by car from the garden gate.
