An enchanting, traditional apartment, located in the heart of the historic centre of the picturesque town of Chiavenna. The apartment is located on the second floor of the palazzo Pedretti, on the high street. There are shops, butchers, bakeries, pharmacies, bars and restaurants all within walking distance, so there's no need for a car to get around.
The appartment is equipped with its own central heating system, as well as a fully functional chimney in the living room.
We have installed a cupboard in the kitchen hearth, but we have made sure that it can be dismantled without causing any damage to the beautiful, traditional fireplace.
The residence contains one large double room, a small spare room for guests (not visible in the photos), a dining room and a living room. The kitchen is large enough and suitably equipped to also be used as a dining room.
There are sofa beds in both in the dining and living rooms. They are easy to assemble and can sleep two guests each.
When renovating the apartment, we were careful to preserve original details to maintain its unique charm.
The kitchen is equipped with an induction hob, oven, microwave, dishwasher and all other amenities. A new utility room has also been installed, with a washing machine and plenty of storage space.
The bathroom is equipped with a shower. There is also a small WC for guests off the main corridor.
The appartment does not have a balcony, but there are several windows in each room. The living area gets plenty of sunshine. The bedrooms are located at the back of the appartment and so are not affected by the noise of the town centre.
